I got this coin in my recent 40 coin ebay lot at melt. It is slightly stronger detail wise than my 27-s that graded F-15. Opinions?

Detail on obverse is pretty decent. Question, the rub across the back, it appears there are some scratches, like it slid across concrete or something....look at the rim from 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock. The front would probably grade out at either F12 or 15, the rims are merging w/beading. Still - that is a $30-40 dollar coin you got at melt!

The strike on these is known to be notoriously weak, so I'll give it a VF-20.

Nice coin!

I would grade this as a F-15. Nice details remain in the Eagle's wings on the Reverse and the date is strong on the Obverse. You still have a good number of stars in Liberty's shield showing as well.

Nice piece - I love Walkers.

thanks guys. I agree with Moe and wheatguy, and think it will go VF-20. The 27-d and s are weakly detailed so are graded a bit more liberally than the others.
