i was recently surfing ebay to see what I could see....

i found this beautiful franklin for $8.99+FREE SHIP

the coin looks to be at least ms-63? only thing to me the REV looks kinda weak..? and what excites me is I think we have Full Bell Lines! but I dont want to get my hopes up...

item was listed as gem BU.... please help me with the grading... THANKS

Nice coin; however, I dont see FBLs

I could see MS64, but I agree with j_h_s on the lack of FBLs.

Scuffs on the lower left + sizable mark on the far upper left + lack of detail to the left of the crack on the upper left.

This seems like the " ebay special" of Franklin teasers. I've won a few of them as I'm trying to teach myself grading and they all seem to have these exact characteristics. Hard to go wrong at that price though. It might look a lot better in hand (or not). I may end up sending a couple to a TPG soon just to check my work. I know the cost grading is not really worth it as far as value, I see it as tuition.

If it came back as MS 64 you would be at a loss if you sent it out for grading since the coin would be worth less than the grading fee.

That cac Link is extremely helpful, because of it, I've discovered many Franks that I have with FBLs
