Sorry if this is the wrong section moderators/admins, but it seemed the most appropriate.

When did the change get made to 250 posts and 90 days necessary to start a sale thread? I ask because I was looking forward to the day that i'd be able to offer up some of my coins to the members here (and as far as I know some of the members were looking forward to seeing what I have to offer as well) and it seems that while I was waiting for this 14 day time-period to elapse, my feet were yanked from under me and the waiting period was increased to 90 days and 250 posts =(.

Might be a long shot, but I was wondering if an exception could be made since when I joined the forum here the rules were 14 days and 50 posts, and in the period during which I was waiting there was an increase... maybe something like all new members to join the forums since the change was made have to abide by it, but if you were here before the changes were made you can adhere to the old rules? Does that make sense?

I realize that rules were probably changed for a reason, and there's little chance that you'll make an exception for me and let me sell on here before the 90 day period has elapsed, but I really would like the opportunity to offer up some of my collection the great community of collectors here at CoinCommunity... and unfortunately I was looking to sell the majority of things rather quickly here, certainly not looking to wait another two months.

Let me know what you think,
and thanks!

A recent EX-member has apparently been double selling silver bars and then not shipping them

There's always ebay and the like!
I do sell my stuff on ebay for larger audiences. 100 free auction style listing under $1, read and follow the rules on ebay.

A lot of knowledgeable people here I learned from, so this is a lot more valuable. That's what the main focus of this forum really is about!

I bought from the person before and all went well, except an excessively long period of time to get the coins. Misunderstandings do happen.

Sorry, but no exceptions can be made. Please don't take it personal.

I actually read more of the posts than actually post myself, I buy, sell and trade too, since the new policies, guess I'll have to post more now..lol

As for the poor performance by a member selling items, it's lousy and ruins it for everyone else, I have bought and sold items to 12 different members here at CCF(see my BIO), with no problems at all, I would vouch for any of them, and I think they would for me

I would venture a guess that I spend as much time here as anyone, but too, just read more than post. But part of what makes this site so great is the rather ridged structure, so we must accept the rules as is.
