I received a fake £2 coin in my change at Greggs the bakers, at the time I wanted to get rid of it so I re-entered Greggs and bought something else with it. I sort of wished I kept it now.
I got a fake 2005 one pound coin today in the change and amazingly yesterday I got a fake 1993 coin which was very shiny for coin allegedly "minted" in 1993 ! What amazed me about the 1993 coin was how detailed the coat of arms was and the lettering on the side. Its amazing how the forgers really put an effort into making it look so authentic compared to the fakes that are usually made by lazy forgers who cant even match the year and designs correctly !!
