What NOT to name him:

*Anything that is or sounds like a food
*A name that starts with the first letter of your first child's name - this starts a trend that is hard to stop with any children that follow, and will catch you up later when you're trying to say one child's name but end up saying the other (this will happen anyway, but the same letter to start the names makes it MUCH worse!).

I always said I was gonna name my son "Justin Kase (last name)" but when I had my son my wife wouldn't go for it so we names him Daniel. I thought up this name when I was like 13 or so (about 24 years ago) and always said I would name him that because just in case he was mine or just in case he wasn't but I guess I told my wife why I liked the name and it kind of ruined it for her and she bucked when I suggested it

Before my middle son was born my wife and I asked the oldest what we should name him (he was 3 at the time). His response, spoon-muffin.
