Here is my contest. Respond to this post. You will be assigned a number based on the order in which you respond. For Example if you are the first to respond you get number 1. If you are the 15th to respond your number is 15. You get the picture. What's the catch you say?....You have to be a "Supporter" to enter. What? You are not a supporter yet. You can visit this hyperlink to make that happen.Become a site supporterOn Wednesday August 18th at noon EST I will close the contest and run a random online drawing. Whoever has the number that comes up wins. Very simple. What's the prize? A 2001 Un-circulated Capital Visitors Center Commemorative Silver Dollar. ebay Value about $26.00. So for a $5 donation this month you have a chance to win a pretty cool prize. Just remember, 1 entry per person and you must be a supporter on Wed 8/18/10 to enter. If you enter, but you are not a supporter, you will be skipped in my count, so as the Soup Nazi would say....NO NUMBER FOR YOU! |

I don't usually like to be first in a random number contest, but I just have to commend you on the effort to garner support for CCF!  I've been trying to think of a way to raise some funds as well. I was going to put up some auctions, but that forum has since been dismantled. Edited by Scooby Due

Yes, excellent idea, MM - the auctions were the only way I knew of for us to do that (besides donating directly). Good thinkin'  Adam, I'm sure they would take a money order or similar (not sure about mailing cash.. I try not to do that often). Send them an email (or click Contact Us under the left Navigation menu) and ask. |

Say ... I would like a large bowl of your Lobster Bisque. Thanks for the contest. I think I should be good for another 7 months maybe as a supporter? I misplaced it for a couple days or so and I was so uncomfortable.

Great contest! I just lost my status about a week ago so this is a good incentive to get me back to being a Supporter. Adam, yes you can send cash or check, as far as I'm aware of.
I just made a donation, but will create my official entry post once Bobby gives me the green icon below my username.
