Just glanced at it, and did a double-take. Center coin in upper photo looks like a pair of lips near the center, with a nostril above and the lower part of an eye area. Geez, I gotta go do something.

Top right is a German States Rudolph I and Ludwig IV Pfennig (1294-1317) with a panther on one side and a coat of arms on the other.

Pretty sure the others are from the same area and same date too but not worked them out yet - will see what I can find.

Edited to add picture link: http://www.vcoins.com/world/beastco...dProduct=706

Worth about $40US

12th to 13th century.

Worth about $40US.

I agree with fioti about a face on the final coin - looks a bit like a bear - have no idea if thats what it is.

Did all three coins come together? If they did its safe to assume they are all prob from roughly the same area and date eg Germany 12-13th century - at least that narrows the search down.

I think you need an expert for the final coin - I'm confident its German States 11th - 12th Century but it has so little detail I cant tell which one.

So many of the coins from this area and time are little more than crude stamps that show very little detail - sorry.
