majnon- hmmm, I'm sorry to say that it may not have been the best of ideas to have cleaned it. While 95% of the time is is best to not clean a coin or other antique, I am not sure if this notion extends into the realm of jewelry. But it still is an interesting piece of coin jewelry.

majnon- Yes a general rule is to not ever clean a coin (or in this instance a piece of coin jewelry). While this is still a very interesting piece of "folk art" it has lost some of its original character.
