at a yard sale a couple days ago, I bought a small wooden box with old papers in it. I paid only $2 for it. At the bottom of the box, I found:
a 1923 $1 bill
a 1928 $2 bill (red seal)
and a 1935 $1 bill

I feel this was a GOOD find. Now I have one question. Are these worth anything?

Welcome to the forum! Condition, with currency just as in coins is very important in determing value. What reserve issued the bills as well as the signatures and type of seal all have an impact on value. Please try and post pics. Once we can ballpark the grades, we can ballpark the values. At any rate you did great!!! Mike

yeah you made alittle money ,sorry I am in another state and dont have any books with me, the large is maybe 20 dollars in that condition the 35 depends what letter is after the 1935 looks like an A and what letter is on the two maybe a G these are also things that one needs to know I cant enlarge the pics to see the detail sorry conditions are roughly a good for all three. But still well worth what you payed. good find.
