Just renewed my membership in the WAM club. No biggy but I have been in a slump for a long time now, not finding many keepers. Just wanted to show you guys my new find. Thanks for looking, John1     Edited by John1

I am hoping to find a WAM someday soon, but I don't really search rolls that often. I know the 2000 is the least rare WAM and I think the 98 is a little less common and the 99 is much more difficult to find. How common is it to find a 2000 or 1998 WAM...is it something fairly widespread or still pretty difficult to find? Edited by spaceace

Just a guess, but I find about one WAM in about every 4 boxes searched. I actually find about an equal amount of 98 and 2000. I find about 1 1999 for every five of each of the 98 and 2000. It's about time for another 1999. |

I search a lot of boxes, maybe two or three per month for a lot of years now and have found two '98 and three 2000's. John1 |

Man I might have to break down and buy one. I know the 1998 and 2000 are pretty cheap, but I was hoping to find them in the wild...I guess I need to get more rolls...many, many more rolls.

I have searched 4 boxes a week for the last 15 months and have just over 30 each of both the 1998 and 2000 and six 1999s. Maybe it is just location? Sometimes I might go even a couple of months without finding any, but then I will find several within a couple of weeks. I did find 2 1999s within the same week once. Keep lookin, they are still roamin in the wild.

Congrats on a great find. They are getting harder to find all the time. We are getting them out of circulation slowly but surely.
I have been very lucky searching rolls. I think being an hour south of Philly has a lot to do with it. I have not taken an exact count recently but I am over 25 each of 1998 and 2000. Have found exactly on 1999.
Keep lookin, they are out there.
