Hi again, As you mat be able to see I am new to the whole coin collecting and I need some help. Just needing a rough guide on a selection of good metal detectors (not to expensive as I'm on a low wage) to help me find some maby lost treasures. I have been searching for a hobby for a while and now I think I found it, so if you have any ideas please post away I need all the help I can get.

Thank you.

Hi, nice to see a metal detectorist from the UK! if you google joan allen there is a selection of good metal detectors on there, I personally would recommend a Minelab as I have a E-Trac myself. Also if you are on a budget the garrett 250 is also a good one.

Depends on your budget. An ACE-250 could be had for @ $250. Or you can find some really nice detectors for @ $500. The ACE-250 is a great beginer detector and their has been tons of great finds made with them. Good luck and Happy hunting. WOLF
