I've just won this:

Italian-10-Centesemi-1893

Italian-10-Centesemi-1893

I know next to nothing about grading, so could somebody please give me an opinion and let me know if the marking on the obverse lets the coin down too much?

And sorry, no I don't know why one pic is so much smaller.
Many thanks,
Bob

alganbagerap- It is a bit hard to tell from the details visible in the pictures, but I might guess that it has AU details. I am not quire sure what that dark streak is on the obverse of the coin, but that might be perceived as affecting eye-appeal, which in turn would reduce the value.

The obverse photo is retouched at the top. Hope isn't to much of a damage.

I won't have this in hand until next week, when I'll put up my own pics. Thanks for the input.

Well here it is and it's absolutely untouched...........except for what I believe to be residual PVC damage. A great deal of the original lustre remains, but what if anything can be done about the staining?

alganbagerap - indeed a coin that seems to show no wear, so I would say unc but the dark streak does certainly affect the value.
Rest in Peace
