I needed a 2008 Royal Shield 5 pence coin to send off to a member here on CCF.

So I went to the bank today and exchanged £2 for some 5 pence coins.

Found a Swiss 1/2 Fr. in the bag of coins.

I also was successful in the finding the needed 2008 Royal Shield 5 pence as well.

Even if it's not a "keeper" for you, half a Swiss franc is worth 30 pence. If you found it mistaken for a 5p, I'd call that a win.

Hi Sap,

Yes, a find like this is a keeper. I was not aware of the 6:1 difference in the value of the coins. Thanks of informing me of that. So it is indeed a nice win.
