That does not make them any less worthy of praise. All of my Lincoln cents came from circulation; there is no shame in that!

Are they in a folder?

Absolutely no shame in that !! ....

I have mine (folder) completed from circulation as well. The Memorials are fun to do that way ! .....
The "Wheats" on the other hand, are EXTREMELY hard to do that way !! ..... Ya gotta get some help from coin shows, coin auctions, coin shops, ebay, estate sales, flea markets, and the classified ads to try to get most of "those" !! ... And of course, there's a more than a few, that will be "empty holes" for MANY OF US FOR AN ETERNITY !! .....

I have several different Lincoln albums & folders going simultaneously ! And I love em' A.L.L. !

(My newest Dansco, however, has only Uncirculated P&D Mints and Proofs all broken out of Sets in there, up to this point....and...I must say....THAT IS ONE SHARP LOOKIN' SET SO FAR ! WHEWEEEY !)

Congrats!

When I read this it got me thinking (smell the smoke?). "Do I have a complete set?" So I looked. According to the list I have there are two double dies (1972 and 1995). Do you count those as part of the set? Those two and a 1970 S small date. are all I'm missing.

They are no holes for them in my Dansco album, so I do not count them.

You know if I had my way, that 1922-D "Plain" hole would be gone as well.

Well said jbuck, well said. I must agree, circulated coins, although not perfect and pristine as uncircs or proofs have a history to tell unlike those that have been locked away behind plastic or cellophane since the day they were born.

gopats112 I am working on a Lincoln set, 1909 - 1973. They are in an H. E. Harris album I picked up at Books a Million a while back. All but about 10 are from circulation or bulk wheat purchases. I think you might want to someday put yours in and album and show them off.
