Very nice! Although I get a little sketchy above just "MS", is that about a 62 or 63? Nonetheless, a very good looking coin. A fine addition to any collection! I'd love to cop an 09vdb in MS65RD. Every time I see one, I start shaking and try to con myself into pulling the trigger. I love the 09vdb. My 31s is a F or VF (forget which), as are most of my pre-35's, with a fair smattering of VG's in the teens and twenties. Thanks for sharing and making the drool bucket a necessary item! Steve

Thanks! I think the drool guy and the popcorn guy are both necessary!
PCGS gave this MS63RB. I really couldn't pass it up for the price.

No, you were right on Whytlash! Quote:Is this an ebay purchase? Funny you should mention that. I recently DID buy one off ebay that now I wish I would have waited. I bought this locally for a really nice price and serious upgrade. Now I'm debating keeping the other or just trying to at least get my money back and put the funds toward a *cheap* '14-D. (Need a tongue-in-cheek smiley).

I have a *cheap* 14D. Fine or VF (again, I forget which!) that I paid about $90 (can't remember exactly!), but that was in '04 (I think!) Haven't seen what they go for nowadays because I already have one!
I just went in to see my dealer one day with a list of a handful of Lincolns I needed and wanted F or VF and he went in the back with the list and came out with a couple of handfuls to look through. I had already scoped prices and figured F-VF was all I was willing to spend to fill those holes, or upgrade from G's and AG's.
I miss that guy! It's nice having a dealer that keeps your want list pinned on a board in the back room and when you show up he hands you stuff, and is always willing to bring out 6 or 7 of something for you to choose from when you say "I need a THIS in a THAT."
And is always willing to give you a discount because you're a good customer, even when you don't expect it.
Sorry, I was reminiscing a bit.......

That's awesome Whytlash! I wish I could find a guy like that. The dealers around here just don't take me seriously.
Good luck trying to find a G now for $90! I'm going to try and hold out for F.U.N. and see what I can get for a comma. I'm trying to stash a couple commas between now and then and get an '09-S VDB, too. When, not if, it happens, believe me everyone will know!
