Got 17 SLQ's in today. 14 type 2's, 3 type 1's. They are all worn, bought around spot.

Of the type 2's, there is a '27, but I can't make out anything that resembles a mintmark.

Of the type 1's, there is an S mintmark on one.

So, nothing major to report, but not too bad a haul for the first time!

I really love these coins, dateless or not!

You guys have me hooked. I just love the way they look and feel - like REAL money.

Cool - a type 1 1917-s.

Even if you grade it as AG3, you likely got the lot for around spot - so great pickup!

Rest in Peace

Nice, you will soon be addicted as cwb stated.

I was closely watching several lots but I never go the chance to bid.

Not soon to be addicted, it's all over but the buying. Can't wait to start picking up some nicer examples and slinging some pics! I really love these coins.

Scoob - have you ever ventured out to the flea market off of Fowler and 75? I'm considering heading out there this weekend to see if there are any tables with coins.......just to have a look around, maybe barter a deal or two.

LOL afcop! - I was thinking about going out there this weekend!

I usually go to the one off Racetrack Rd - it's a little closer. The last time I was at the BigTop was before I collected. I remember seeing a few coin dealers there and I kind of looked around because it was always in the back of mind to start collecting again one day.

Well, I think that day arrived about 8-9 months ago!
