I think your moral stance scared them off of trying to win it now.

OK, now that's it is irrelevant I will clarify my point. This works when after Scooby's (non-suicidal) guess there were 3 possible (let's call them A, B, and C) 6th currencies left.
We know it's in the 2 position. So, my ("dud") guess would be A, B, dud, dud, dud, dud.
If the response is 1/1 I immediately know the missing currency is B.
If it's 1/0 - it would be A.
And finally if it's 0/0 - it would be C.

And, depending on the response I'd immediately finish it off.

I've heard that before.

Regardless, at minimum, next available "time-frame" guess should take it. Wasn't trying to create a "dilemma".

Interesting strategy svslav, a new angle of mastermind I hadn't seen given 3 possibilities.

Scooby, remeber the game when you and I were shoulder to shoulder? In the morning you posted a combination that was on "the tip of my tongue". Depending on the outcome I had four ready combinations to go. I was ready to use my "final guess" privilege, but because you beat me to the guess I just needed to post the winning combo.

I can't spell right today!

I remember it well. That was a good game. Like rikcando, I'm impressed with the strategy. You probably should have kept that to yourself!

Well, I certainly learned something today.

A cool strategy and a not-so-cool strategy.

By the way if you wonder why I'm "dawdling" here, I think someone else would have a better use of a roll of pennies.

I've had a couple of long days so I'm heading off to bed. I guess I'll see if anyone wants to win this in the morning. Good night everyone, and thanks for playing.
