have been searching for a year and I have no idea where it came from or what the inscription is.

The lettering on the attachment loop says "WEGE TEAK" or something similar. But I'm afraid I'm not seeing the connection between the object in the bottom pic and the attachment loop in the top two pics.

The artwork on the medal itself looks more Celtic than Indian to me.

I am also adding another medallion I have it is solid not sure if its brass or gold.[feedback][/feedback]
