Hello, It will be interesting to see how all of you will grade these coins. They are high resolution sharp pictures and leave very little, if anything, to the imagination. They have been graded by a TPG and I hope you are all close to the grades given by the TPG. It will be a good test, to either confirm your grading skills, or to proof the TPG's opinion as perhaps incorrect. Please grade the coins very objective as what they are. simply as what you, as a knowledgable and experienced collector- buyer see the coins would grade. However, please do mention any variety, unusual marks or features, damage or abnormal condition in addition to the actual grades. exampel: MS 75 tiny obv rim nick -re-punched 7- etc. you get the idea. I will after a few days list the grades the coins received. thank you all, and have fun grading.

Beautiful coins HHB,outstanding photos! MS64 for the newf 5cents,65/66 if not for the distraction on george's cheek.I like this series, modern fishscales with a very colonial-looking portrait of the king.If I live long enough or win the lottery I'll complete my set with a '46c MS63 for the Vickie, this coin has it all, high grade, beautiful toning, die clash, and a die crack. MS65 for the Edward, interesting finish. Were there specimen strikes in 1910 MS64 for the 25cents,a bit of weakness in the band of the crown, but thats typical just my unprofessional opinion

About the 44 5 cent similar to others ms64 but cheek smudge is disarming.

The othes , 1858 10 cent is a great piece ms63 , like DBM and Coinsrfun this is a field guide for errors and variety , not sure that this would enhance the grade but I would think it adds value, for sure, nice coin.

crf and 1cent... where in the 1935 are you seeing wear?

jg86, I can't pinpoint any specific area of wear, all I can see are some marks that tell me the coin saw light circulation for a time, but not long enough to physically wear the metal of the coin. By definition, if there is no wear then it's an UNC, and I am sure the TPG graded it as such, probably MS-64. The third and fourth bead on the crown are also a little weak, but I (as well as CRF I would guess) attribute this to a weak strike and not physical wear. In particular it's the little scratches in somewhat protected areas that tell me this coin did see circulation, even if for a very short time.

Just noticed the results but this is what I would have guessed.
1. 1944 5C MS-63 Die Clash by DEI 2. 1858 10C AU-50 Die Clash @ 11:00 on Reverse 3. 1910 5c Ms-64 4. 1935 25c AU-55
Being an amateur, I would beleive all their grades but the 1910. May not be a MS-64 but how can they say its AU-50? A lot of these coins were lightly struck.
I would seriously consider re-grading the 1910 elsewhere.

1 cent, sorry it is NOT 4 sale at this time... it is much too beautiful to part with. maybe some other time. Yea... you hit the nail on the head with your comment. will not mention the TPG, but a major KNOWN and expensive Variety was misgraded also by marking the wrong obverse!
