Nothing wrong with description.VG is WORN because is VG.

The sentence in quotation marks in my last post came directly from the listing in question.

VG is a worn corn, but according to the ANA's Official Grading Standards there are several grades below VG, such as G, AG, Fair, and Poor. And according to the description, the nickels ranged from VG to just enough date..., "ranged" being the key word. This does make it a bit open-ended.

I said previously I thought the buyer got a good buy. Why did he leave a neutral feedback? I don't know. But don't blame his prior buying experiences. The beauty of ebay is that it reaches millions of buyers that you could never hope to attract without the Internet or a huge advertising budget. The downside to this is in those millions are a proportional number of "unworthy" (to avoid profanity) members of that community, both buyers and sellers. Be they crooked, uneducated, or just naive, they are part of the system. For the record, I don't sell coins, but I do buy. The feedback system is one of the reasons I don't buy from ebay sellers. The whole "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" mentality of the feedback system just turned me off of buying from that site.

All you can do is move on. I sent a message to the buyer offering to refund his money if he wasn't satisfied, and haven't heard back. I will continue to take the high road on ebay for the few items I sell. I will not hold my feedback in ransom, I will leave feedback for the buyer, once they pay and not after they give me positive feedback.

I am relieved to hear my description wasn't totally off base, but maybe some room for improvement.

Thanks
Duke
