I recently found 2 coins that seem to be very old. As I know nothing about old coins, or identifying them, I figured I'd let you guys help me. :)

There are two coins. One of them was definitely hammered into shape. (it's not uniform and you can see where they hammered the design into the metal. I'm not sure about the other one. Here's some pictures of each coin.

Coin 1: This one is in a lot better condition. You can even read some of the letters. Here's that one.

Coin 2: This one is in very bad condition, and looks to be fake to me. Here's some pictures of that:

If you need a picture of something specific on the coin let me know. I can probably give you more info on them. I'm just not sure what you need to help me identify it. Like I said, I know nothing about coins. Thanks.

EDIT: Coin #2 depicts a person holding a scepter, with what appears to be some sort of animal behind him. Looks like a dog perhaps?

EDIT #2: I found someone online that said coin #1 could possibly depict Macrinus and his son Diadumenian, making it a Roman coin.

EDIT #3: Ok, I found out a little bit more about coin #2. The animal it depicts is a bull. I could see the horns after looking with a magnifying glass. Also, I can see now that there is a female figure on one side, and a male one on the other. The male's head is obscured, but the female is wearing a helmet similar to this one.

I looked through a library of greek coins, and many of them were similar. But, no match so far. Please post if you have any ideas.

They both appear to be from what is now Afghanistan, though I can't speak for their authenticity.

On the top one we can see the distinctive "pith helmet" portrait used by the kings of Bactria. There are some coins on Wildwinds that are very similar to this one, such as this one. It's supposed to be silver but frankly that doesn't look silver.

The bottom one appears to be from the Kushan Empire, who overthrew the Bactrians sometime around 100 AD. The figure standing with the bull is the Hindu god Shiva; the figure on the other side is the King in a robe. See this page on grifterrec for coins that are similar to yours.
