Hi All
Happy July 4 to All. I'm going to ask a question I'm sure has been asked before. I want to start getting a few coins graded. For someone starting out what is a good company to use.

Depends what kind of coins you want to get graded. Seeing your other thread, your 1940 nickel is definitely not worth getting graded. Most coins that are worth under $150 do not need to be slabbed.

I suggest you stick around and keep learning more about coins, grading services, and which coins need to be slabbed, and then slowly consider if you have a coin that really needs certification.

Don't grade any coin where the value of the coin equals or exceeds the cost of getting the coins graded. Best service for someone starting out is NGC or ANACS. PCGS is way to sticky about who can submit coins and who can't. My $.02.
