First its too hot then 8 inches of rain in less than 24hrs... Its a conspiracy I tell you...
Finally got out into the soggy ground today. Hit my favorite soccer complex slim pickings but no digging needed just stick the screwdriver in the mud soup and flip the target out....

Mud soup? Where do you live Nohope? I plan on getting out and doing some swinging tomorrow. It will be the first time in months. I hope I am half as successful as you have been

I have been thinking of buying one for years. Most places around me will not allow metal detecting though. Yorktown, Williamsburg, etc.... Any sugestions on how to get started?

I have the same problem Carmykle, I live in chesapeaake and go to school in Williamsburg and everyhting up there is off limts and any state parks in my area are also prohibited. I am planning on searching the schools in my area although the oldest one is, you guessed it off limits. There is one not far though that was built in the 1800's so Ill see how I do there.
