1984 P Kennedy Half----Strike Doubled Or True Doubled Die?

Ferdyboy Valued Member United States 84 Posts	Posted 07/08/2010 3:01 pm Hello, I'm brand new to the group and would like to say hello---while at the same time presenting this image of a Kennedy found while roll searching today. Is this strike or Machine Doubling or a true doubled die? I know one exists for this year and mint mark but haven't been able to find any images. It is not listed in the CPG. Thanks! Ferdyboy Valued Member United States 84 Posts	Posted 07/08/2010 6:28 pm Also, the fuzziness in the first image is not blurred or out of focus---this is pretty much what the "WE TRUST" actually looks like on the coin. You can see that the "4" in the date is in sharp focus. Perhaps causes by the spread in the DDO? Also, this is wider font implemented by the mint sometime after 1977---- Report this Post to the Staff
