Found this lying around. I think its been with me for a number of years. I vaguely remember buying it at an auction.

Its about 10% off struck.
Can anyone Identify it and give an approx value?

Hi Nohope.
The Krause number for your coin is km#398 and the catalog values are: F 10, VF 20, XF 40, UNC 150.
There might be a premium since it's off centered but I'm not sure.
Hope that helps!

What a find you have there. Though the date is not scarce. It is the 1st year of issue for this Alamos Mint (Sonora, Mexico) 5 centavos. What makes it interesting is the coin is off centered. the later dates from this mint becomes much more scarce. The largest mintage (43,000 coins) was in 1883 and there were 2 varieties a normal eagle and the mule 1 peso gold eagle. There is more to the series.

It looks like the Alamos mint was a little lax in quality control in 1874:
