What would these be considered? This is sort of like the "mini radar" thing.
0302 0100 0302 0304 XY67 6869 XY23 4567 XY23 4321 etc.
Hopefully you get the idea of where I am going with this and does anyone here save these?
Thanks
Peace

I recall taking some sort of test in school that was similar to this. (Based on relationship parameters of the first four digits, what would be the next two ?) That sort of thing, I was never very good at it, but am impressed by those who are. Let me try:
03 02 01 00, the second one is beyond my level of comprehension, the third one I could see if the next two digits were 70. the forth one should have digits of 89 following that shown. the last one is just way over my head.

Just my opinion but I don't consider a serial a ladder unless all the digits are involved (zeros are acceptable). So to me there is no such thing as a "mini" anything except a Cooper.

No, I don't save them, but I know lots of folks do.

Oooo, the second one just hit me. There is a downward and then an upward sequence, correct? >0302 <0304. the lack of symmetry threw me for a while there.
I can see the same sort of thing starting on the last one, but I would have to agree with Nickelman, the last two digits would need to be part of the sequence for it to be anything special to me.

Yes, I am talking about mini up and down ladders. X and Y are any 2 random numbers which may or may not be part of the numbers in the ladder. However, the last six numbers would make sense.
Nickleman, can you expand on zero theory? I saw one the other day which went something like this - 0054 0300 and was referred to as a down ladder. Is this what you are referring to?
I do save "mini radars" in CHCU even though I do not buy into the "mini" concept. At a cost basis of face value I can always spend them.

I just mean that if you have a serial like 00343500 I would consider that a ladder. Would I consider 0054 0300 to be a ladder? Honestly, it's stretching it, but I would save that note if I found it. It all just opinion and there is no doubt someone who would think it is a ladder so I suppose the short answer is yes barely.
*edit*
After thinking about this further I think it's the pattern that legitimizes it in my eyes. So I would say definitely to numbers like 79900800 or to 15020025 as ladders.

Okay, I guess I don't even know what a ladder is.

Actually it is alright, my mind just cannot think that way, so I'll have to live with that handicap. So...........

I actually have heard of people saving these "mini ladders" although, the only ones they would probably save are the last 2.

Thanks. I did not think of increments of 5 etc. I am going to stay on the course of increments by 1 for the time being. FWIW, I think $2 notes may have more staying power with the "minis" than the $1's (jmo).
