It says "up to 5 sheets". That's pretty thin.

I don't think so either but I love that website! I use a "flat staple" stapler. I think I got it from Wizard coin. It makes it a lot easier to store 2x2's!

How can they call it a stapler when it doesn't use staples?

I liked the multi-tool that looks like and is the size of a key.

I'm going to have to say no on the flips.
My daughter has one...It does work ok on paper, but the pages do pull apart easily
The cardboard is kinda thick to get a proper foldover to keep the flip closed

These are the ones to use. Let's you store 2x2's flat. Less chance of scratching too.

I have one. No go on cardboard.

But as far as scratches, I've seen a home-made crimper tool that flattens staples. Have thought about making my one.
Rest in Peace

I've seen similar fasteners that don't work very well on paper. Crimpers? I use a small pair of pliers.

yeah, but pliers you have to crush each side of the staple. These crimpers were so wide they got the whole staple at once. Half the time!

... half the time ... now THAT's significant, especially for us old retired guys who shuffle through piles of coins to while away the time ...

pls, I'm not trying to be a commercial for the one I posted a link for, but I did a roll of quarters, 4 sides each, in a half an hour.. didn't miss a single staple.. they are off to their new owner with not a worry about a single one damaging another in shipping-

it looks professional, was easy to use, and I didnt' have to pull a single one back out and try to hit the same holes again like my wally world one- and I didn't have to keep picking up a pair of pliers

the stapler uses the same motion that a commercial printer uses to put stitches into books and magazines- check with me in 100,000 staples and i'll let you know if it was worth 17 bucks- for now.. heck yeah !

The Max is the best we've used so far.
We staple a few hundred coins a day.
They do wear out, and have to be retired, but the labor they save without using the pliers, and the coins they save by no staple damage. Gets my vote.
