there is another thread on 2010 Coins in Circulation, which details the emergence of the Tax-20. I got a few in Darwin around November, then I went on holidays. Got a few more in Melbourne. When my nephew understood that I was putting them aside, he got a dozen for me the next day. As I travel around this great land, I frequently visit "The Golden Arches" - not for the food, but for the free WiFi; and the coffee's not bad. I find that I stand a far better chance of getting near-Unc coins in my change at Maccas than anywhere else. I wonder if anyone else has that impression ? Perhaps CCF-types don't fit that demographic ?
Peter in Darwin sick of the rain, and the wind, and the cold ... goodbye T.C. Carlos - you won't be missed

I have found that the Self Serve checkouts at my local Woolworths spits out massive amounts of UNC coins and notes. I watched them fill up one day and a container full of the UNC Tax20 went in... the majority of my UNC circulation coins and notes from from there.

Craig, one of my local Woolies kept on giving Unc $5. There was no queue behind me, so I put every $10 and $20 that I had, one at a time, through the machine, to get $5 in the change. I got fifteen consecutively numbered unc-$5 for my trouble ... and fifteen Mars Bars (the nearest item I could reach) ... and enough coins that I could barely keep my shorts up. Strike while the iron is hot !

Hi Peter,
try using a "bum bag". Its just the shot for that trip to woolies. You can adjust the strap and their is plenty of room for coins:-p

I got a $100 sack from the NAB a few months ago. I still haven't got around to cracking the head/head rolls. I was just about to say, I'll wait for a rainy day. Sorry Queensland and Darwin :-)

Thought I'd revisit an old topic -
Have noticed that these PNC's are becoming a lot more scarce. Anyone thinking their value might shoot up more than what may have been expected?
