I am sure this topic has been beat to death in this forum but what the heck in for a penny.....It was explained to me years ago that coins were split grade to reflect that in some coins the wear on the obverse and reverse were not even, consequently the grade was split to reflect this....Given some thought and over the years of collecting I can agree and accept this but I have a hard time accepting coins that are worn fairly even on both sides receiving a split grade.

does anybody agree or disagree with these statements
