I am not used to using symbols like this. Am I allowed to ask if the quotation marks are punctuation, like the periods are, or are they part of the puzzle?

Ok, the exclamation mark is a symbol so don't bothering answering that. I guess I'll figure it out. Maybe the periods are part of the puzzle too ! Oh my, I hope I finish this before I leave on vacation tomorrow.

Thats a small layer of the difficulty, is you dont know with the exclamation points.
But since it been almost two hours here's a hint.
Periods, apostrophes, commas, and question marks are all punctuation.

Acutally probably not because my wife will be home about 3pm and if she she's me working on this and the garbage is not taken out yet, she will be saying #$%^! (And that's a real exclamation point.
