You will see the differences between small and large motto's quite clearly The easiest marker to spot on Ralph's coin picture is the eight feathers on the lower right arrow the large motto pictured here has only 7 feathers Anyone Care to attribute this one. Moe145 Pillar of the Community United States 8904 Posts	Posted 08/09/2010 10:30 am Nice!! FYI: I find the easiest way for me to tell the 1864 2 cent small versus large mottoes is the D in GOD. On the large mottoes, the D leans to the right following the curve of the "ribbon". On the small one, the D seems to stand straight up. Report this Post to the Staff
