Just getting in to collecting notes and I was wondering what some of your favorite notes are. I have a small budget, so I am de-emphasizing catalog value and scarcity in lieu of asthetics, subject matter, eye appeal, etc.

Everyone hates their notes? I like some of the reverses of Brazilian notes from the '40s & 50s. I'm not to excited by modern U.S. style fronts though (some guy's head flanked by denomination, etc.

I love some of the early U.S. notes, but they are too expensive. British 5 pound note from 1957-61 looks good...

Just a few of my Canadian favs. They are all very rare notes, sadly none are in my collection. Since they are all worth thousands and thousands.

Very, very plain, but I like red ink, and depending on where in the world you are, it could be considered an international note.
