Off the wall question (but consider the source) - I'm taking a Dansco 7165 ( Franklin half) album and adding a page of dollar holes (38mm with foam spacers)for proofs and an additional page for Franklin commemoratives/medallions (39mm holes). With this much effort (time and money-wise) I want things to look right. Does anyone have an idea what is the font that Dansco uses for the 7165 headings? Google doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Paleoguy

Do these pictures help?

Silly Edit: Oh, you mean the name of the font so you can make your own headings... I sound a lot less dumb when I read the whole question.

I have the album with all the business strikes included. I just can't seem to come up with a matching font for the headings to make tags for the add-on pages. Thanks for trying!

I know for a fact that the font used on the covers of all Dansco albums is Brush Script. As for the page headers, I do not know the exact name, but going by the picture linked above, it looks to be very similar to Rockwell: http://www.identifont.com/similar?UV. The years under each portal look like they are printed in Futura: http://www.identifont.com/show?M2.

Brush Script, Rockwell, and Futura come standard on most word processing programs. You shouldn't have to download them or pay for them.

Thanks a million! I think you are correct on the fonts. Now off to the big box store to buy some clear labels!

Paleoguy45:

Did it turn out that these were the right fonts? If so, were you able to figure out the correct font size? I'm looking to do something similar with a few albums and wanted to know how this worked out for you?

Didn't notice this the first time through. I think Brush Script, Rockwell Bold and Futura Medium do the trick, and 1pt of type equals 0.35mm.

I'd like to see your finished album, especially the proof page.
