This may be my best pick of the year with only 600 minted, Or so I am told. But now I will have too start a Seated Liberty set.

But if you have too start a new set this is a nice start!!

nice piece, and there is nothing impossible about a proof being struck thru grease.

However, this is a very strong strike and not likely an unc.

I'll up the ante to 50 cents. What a great looking coin!! Do we now have an auction underway for this coin? Let us know how the TPG comes out. Prettiest SL Quarter I've ever seen - just have to keep looking I guess.

Twohawks, now that's one of the nicest SL's I've seen.

Russ, that 'IS' the nicest quarter of 'any' type that I have ever seen. I'm happy that it is yours.

I do not think so. It's a proof with a strike thought error. I looked up the sales over the last year, there has been 5 sold 2 of them where 63's and they sold for 1150. and 1175. plus the buyer premium. None where error type coins.

I did not pay to have the strike though noted as a blind man can see it.
