Alright, it's over a month away but time flies when you're having fun.
Who's up for coffee or something before (or after) we head in? What day works best? As I recall, we have a few students in the ranks, so perhaps Saturday before or after is best?
As I recall, there's a CPK right across the way if we're up for real food or I'm pretty sure there's a starbucks that's not too far away...

Sometime or other I would like to meet up with some of you guys in Long Beach. I would think about it when I can visit some family folks in San Diego. I would like to meet up with some gemcutting folks and perhaps a few West Coast Mercedes-Benz club members.

I thought most of the gemcutters were in Carlsbad...?
Headed up to Monterey this weekend and next for the races - I think there will be plenty of Mercy people there, too!
You coming to the coin show?
btw, at this point, I'm just throwing out ideas to see what sticks... suggestions are, of course, welcome! =)

Monterey was fun. I can't seem to figure out how to get the gullwings in the paddocks off of my phone and up here, but all in all it was a good weekend.
So, on to Long Beach... anybody have any ideas for a CCF meet?

Seriously? Nobody wants to meet these people we've been talking to in person? Or is there just nobody else in SoCal...?

Hey man. Unfortunately I wont be able to make this one, but maybe we can meet up at the next one? I'm only 2 hours away, so I should be able to make one of these Long Beach shows easily if I plan for it.

Well, there's one in Buena Park October 2nd and 3rd and the monthly one in Anaheim is next on October 10th...
It would be cool to meet some people face-to-face. This is an interesting and conservative crowd that clearly doesn't much like the idea. Fascinating to me...
Anyway, Long Beach was good... I know I've owed you pics of my Lincoln set, and now that I have it even more nearly complete (:D) I'd better get to taking some pictures!

I don't think that people are against the idea, I just think that they dont visit this part of the forum very often. Hardly anyone posts here or visits here(including myself), and many people viewing it are probably not in Cali. Maybe this thread would get some more hits in a different section?

Yeah - I hear that. I just don't know where else is appropriate! I guess I could post in classic and modern coins and beg forgiveness...
