I just bought my first capped but half, and it doesn't fit in my 7070. It's a 1832. It's damaged, so it has a diameter of 33.5. What should I do?

are you asking how to make it fit in the 7070? if this is what you are wanting to know I have cut shims out of mylar flips and wrapped those around the coin so they will fit snug in the hole in the 7070 album. If its to big you can take something and waller it out a little to make it fit

As you know, I have no photography skills. I'll post a pic later.

Congrats! Can't wait to see it! Such a cool coin... =)
btw... are you comfortable with an exacto knife on your 7070, or do you think you'll replace this coin at some point in the future?

That's why I don't want to cut out the hole. Maybe, someday, I'll get a better one. I only paid $12 for this, so I'm happy. Pics will come soon.

I guess it's either cut the album, or take a grinder to the coin, whichever one is worth less!
I'm still looking for a CBH, so good job on the $12 find tumbleweed.

Quote: id say superglue it and use a piece of duct tape.. that should hold it.
One of the problems with advise like this is it's incomplete. There are many different brands of Super glues out there. And duct tape today comes in many different colors. Please be more specific. I'd go alone with honing out the slot a bit to make it fit. You would hardly notice this if done carefully. Just take out the slides and use a coin a bit larger than the slot and slowly turn it in to enlarge the hole. If done slighly you would never notice it.
