In short, no. These coins are "homeland" types, intended for use in Britain itself. There are a few crown dependencies (Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney) and overseas territories (Gibraltar, Falkland Islands and Saint Helena-Ascension) that issue their own pound coins and notes. However, as the territorial pounds are valued at par with the British pound, British coins can probably be found in those places as well.
The Chile 500 pesos is still current; the exchange rate makes it worth almost exactly one Canadian dollar at the moment.
