I noticed on the auction board that if someone lists an auction with a starting bid of x amount, it also has the current bid at x amount, with the next bid amount being x+1. The first bid would therefore be higher than the initial start amount.

Is it supposed to work this way?

The auction I first saw this in is here http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...tAuctionID=8

Yeah, you're right. The bidding form is not differentiating from the first bid and subsequent bids. Overwriting the bid amount with the opening bid may work, overwriting it with a cent over the opening bid should definitely work for now.

I'll have a look at it tonight or tomorrow.

I've changed the first "suggested bid" to default to 1¢ over the opening bid for the time being. I'll do the correct fix later as it's more involved.
