Hi folks. I have in my possession a Commemorative 1 dinar note from the bank of Kuwait. It was issued in 1993 to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait, after the invsion by Iraq. It was given the note in presentation folder by a major in the Kuwait air force when they attendd R.I.A.T. in 1993. Is there anyone who knows if it is of value, and if so how much.?
Though it is not technically a banknote (it's stamped on the back "This is not legal tender"), it is nevertheless officially issued and is still a collectable item. It's listed in my 2002 edition world banknote catalogue at $15.
Kuwait issued a second edition of the same "collector series" note in 2001 for the 10th anniversary.
