if it already graded XF40 I wouldn't think it had a chance in 4377 in making AU50, theres quite a difference

I wouldn't pay a premium just because of a holder; I'd have to look at the coin, itself, and if for some reason the grade appears to be off enough to make a significant difference in price, I might pay a little extra - but I would just see it as taking a risk and hoping it pays off. The graders are pretty good at what they do...
