It's just a scam to advertise discounts for other auctions. Auctions like that would make me never want to buy from that seller.

The missing RU is supposed to be late die state but the die crack on the obverse seems to be young.

You slay me, carmykle. I just had a mental vision of a warehouse full of S&H books, being loaded onto 53ft trailers so you could pay for the auction....

I dont even look at the stuff in that price range.

The ones that catch my eye are the 40% Kennedy's for a low price with 19.95 or 29.95 shipping

The seller's pic doesn't quite convince me of the goods.
Then again, I wouldn't hand over a cool million to strangers on ebay.
I stick with scammers whom I can trust, like "Coin Vault".

I think so, due to actual value of what he is selling and the outrageousness of the listing, he has merely posted it to trick you into looking at his discounts and other auctions. When the seller knows he has no legitimate intent to sell, even though he would love to sell what he listed at that price, he knows no one will actually buy it, and I question whether he even has that much silver coin on hand, then he has no true intention to sell and that IMO is a scam.
