Hi,

I was being a good Samaritan, and helping someone from ebay that I was trying to buy a coin from identify a few things. I contacted them about combined shipping and somehow I am appraising their inheritance

But I digress

Anyway...I always have problems with Middle Eastern and Asian coins. Can I get some help so I can give some help on this one:

This is a 20 Piastres coin from Egypt, KM# 368 dated AH1356 (1937), 28 grams and .833 silver. A little stained but very nice detail, I would grade it at AU-55 with a value of about $75.00. Very nice coin.
Rest in Peace

Looks like Egypt, KM #368, 20 piastres. Date reads "1937".

Thanks for the info, I am forwarding it on.

Bad part is.....I didn't even win the 2 cent pieces they were selling.

Someone here probably stole it from my grasp while I was sleeping. It closed after 11pm EST.
Rest in Peace

It's nice to see that I've learned enough on this forum to post matching info to echizento's. Note, however, that I stayed away from grading and evaluation. I know my limits!

I sent him echizento's response...He listed it on ebay with an opening bid of $50.

Not sure if either of you collect these, but if it is worth $75...you might be able to get a good deal on this one.
