Streaks run across the entire bill. Did something happen while it was being printed or after? Any thoughts?

Interesting. It looks like it went through a machine with ink on its rollers. Did you find this in a vending machine? :p

Hard to tell from the orientation of the pic but "my spec" is that it was washed and pressed. This is the issue with strap searching as I pass on these types of things (too much guess work). The "white streaks" come out when washed and subsequently pressed from my understanding.
Not to jump topics - Did you ever contact the person who sold you the fake SN error? And if so what happened. Thanks

No, found it in a strap, but the vending machine idea is possible.

No Ceylon62, I haven't got in touch with him yet. He was selling notes at a flea market in P.A. I'll be returning there next weekend, hopefully I'll see him then.

I'm not an expert on paper money, but it looks as if it was printed fresh then passed sideways through a feeding machine shortly after. But then Washington's collar disproves my theory. It looks like glare even though it's not.
Can we see the other end of the bill? Does it streak outside of both white frames? Because if it does then it could've been some weird laser printing - but I don't think they use lasers, just ink?! Can anyone confirm this?

There aren't any streaks on the backside, should ther be if it went through a bill eater like a vending machine or change machine? I've seen marks put on bills on the bottom on both sides when they are ran through a bill counter. Idk.

another opinon from a commercial printer
the face of the bill would be the 2nd side printed, after 3 days of drying the back side, it is slightly possible these are wheel marks from the press and the delivery system attached to it., I'm seeing 5 sets pretty evenly spaced,
the wheels would be on the "up" side, and there would be belts directly below them on the bottom, wet ink, hard rubber wheels, the ink would build up as many freshly printed sheets passed under the wheels, and you would get the same type effect of a paint roller on a wall
i deal with this sort of thing at work quite often, the ink builds up, and until somebody decides to clean the wheels, the streaks just keep getting darker and darker
