I'm thinking of starting to collect yearly sets. I'm wondering which sets to collect for each year? Which is more popular and which would be best in value? Soooo many to choose from. Proof, Specimen, Uncirculated, Prooflike so on and so forth. All opinions are appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

IMHO, at least one of each type of annual set in circulation. That way you get some that are no longer in circulation; ie... the large Canadian Dollar in the silver proof set. I hope it wasn't just for this year. I plan on getting gone each year till I go out with a bang! (Or a fissle.....whatever!)

To start I like the 1999 silver proof set. The prices have really dropped on them over last couple of years. From there I'd say to collect the silver proof sets.
