Received in change = four total (two Hot Springs-D, two Yellowstone-D)

I had a lot of fun spending four rolls of Hot Springs-D when I was on
vacation in Seattle. Everyone noticed. You'd think no one in Seattle
had ever ever seen a BU Quarter...

I've received one Hot Springs and one Yosemite in change recently. Both coins looked 5 years old already. What's that old quote about replacing good money with bad money?

There's a word for that: "culls".

Two months ago at a McDonalds here in Miami I got a hotsprings from the clerk lady. She saw me looking at it blankly as I did not even know about them. Well we talked for a few moments and I asked if you had more, she said yes, rolls she said. I asked if I could get one roll and she was so awesome she got one roll for me. That was my first ATB coins I got. Now I have this year's complete silver set. These coins are pretty cool.

I've found about a rolls worth of Hot Springs, about 15 Yellowstones, and 3 Yosmites. All D's though

Two Hot Springs, both are P's. One Yellowstone, one Yosemite, both P's. All in amazing condition. The Hot springs are different though. They don't have a bright silvery luster, it's not that the luster is worn off they still shine great, they look more dark than normal quarters, kind of like pewter. Any ideas why?
