matchbox Pillar of the Community United States 1007 Posts	Posted 09/06/2010 7:50 pm I just bought a 2010 Canadian Tire dollar coin on ebay. Is this the only design for 2010? Is there a way to find out how many were minted for the 2009 Olympic games? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there were three designs for the Olympics. Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

1945V Valued Member Canada 386 Posts	Posted 09/06/2010 8:33 pm From what I understand, they have nothing to do with the Olympics. They are more of a marketing gimmick used by Canadian Tire. You got a coin, if you spent $25 or more at their stores. Coin collectors like their uniqueness and non-coin collectors could redeem for $1 with their next purchase at Canadian Tire.
