The Mind-Off will be between the winners of Rounds 1-4:

Round 1: Scooby Due
Round 2: Rikcando
Round 3: Svslav
Round 4: Waredu

I want to make sure we start when you are all available, so let me know if you would rather start tonight around midnight or tomorrow (Sunday) around noon - once a roundabout time is established, we'll begin when the gang's all here.

This one is going to be a bit tricky but there are a lot fewer currencies to pick from. The answer of 12 will consist of 11 currencies from the answers for Rounds 1-4, one of which will be doubled.

Since we've had quite a few accidental duplicates, please put a "2" after your double currency. Each double will actually act as its own currency when calculating the number right and in the right position.

So instead of:

EYE NED TOO GOE TOO BED NOW C UZ IAM RLY RLY TRD

You would have:

EYE NED TOO GOE TOO2 BED NOW C UZ IAM RLY RLY TRD

Which would be tossed back anyway because of the 'accidental' double RLY and could then be corrected to:

EYE NED TOO GOE TOO2 BED NOW C UZ IAM RLY VRY TRD

If the Secret Squirrel Answer is:

ALL BAD DOG RLY NED TOO GOE TOO2 BED AND STP BRK

My answer is going to be 6 right, 0 in the right position. The 2nd TOO (with the 2) counts as its own currency.

Make sense?

Holler if there are questions, and about when you can start

In Addition
** 3 guesses per day, 12:00PM to 12:00PM EST
** Final Answer clause is in effect
** One double in your guess is required - more than one will be rejected
** Typos will not be rejected or even mentioned (by me, anyway - if you're feeling nice, you can always point out an adversary's typo), so double-check your guesses, and your list of possible currencies before hand!

Edited because the forum software keeps changing one of my currencies to "because"... bah!
Edited again to clarify rules

So, with the winning combo
A, B, A2, C, D

I say
E, F, A, G, E2

you reply 1/1 or 1/0(?) because A2 is not A?

And if I post
B, E, F, B2, G

would you reply 1/0 or 2/0?

Right, A2 is not A, so I would reply 1/0.

1/0 again.

So basically you just double the number of currencies in the pool. Why didn't you just say so?

I'd rather do it tomorrow. But if the majority goes for tonight I'll be fine too.

The only restriction, in my understanding, we are not allowed to use more than one "double" in our guesses.
Can we post guesses with 12 different currencies?

Good question! A double is required but more than one will be rejected.

However, I'm not going to reject typos. So if you have IKI in your guess but it's not in the list, I'm not going to say anything.

Consequence of being an Elite Masterminder(tm). Make sure you double-check your list of possibilities before-hand!

I should have had each winner have 3 guesses per day in the Mind-off, so each round you won would give you 3 more. Maybe next time

We have one vote for starting tomorrow around noon. That would actually work out better for me, as well, so if anyone is not available then, better speak up soon

Noon tomorrow is great with me. Preferred actually.

So I take it a list of currencies is out of the question. That's ok, I'll have a few hours in the morning before the starter pistol goes off.

That's my kinda thinking!

The new weavus rule is in effect! Wisecracks required! (doubles allowed)

Midnight, noon, whatever is fine. How about the Christmas proposal?!

Very creative on the examples - now I see what kinks needed to be worked out!

Indeed! Should I require one wisecrack per hour per spectator, or what?

Looks like noon tomorrow is good with everyone except Waredu, who hasn't been able to vote due to taking his bride to dinner (what's for dinner, Waredu?! I'm hungry!) So we'll plan on that unless Waredu cannot make it then. Around noon, everyone post so we know we're all here, or I'll call roll, or whatever.
