I agree, it is a fantasy piece. It is kind of cool to hang on to, but probably has little or no value.

Yep, it's a fantasy. No American 1 dollar coins ever existed with anything remotely resembling that design. It's based on the design of the pre-1999 Washington quarter, first issued in 1932.

If you look closely, you can see the word "FAC SIMILE" under the wings of the eagle.
