Greetings All,

Was looking for an extra set of eyes to take a gander at this Half Dime and offer a shot at the grade. I think it's in the 35-40 range but some say it could be AU. What would you say?

Thanks for looking
Ben

Hard to tell with out it in front of me and the toning makes it harder in the photo to grade

45 was what snapped into my mind at first glance, and generally I get it closer that way than when I sit and stare at the pic.

AU? Nope.

I would have to say EF40 only because the clasp looks worn. This might just be the pic, so it could go to 45.
Rest in Peace

Ben, I can't tell from the image. Best you send it to me for an in-hand appraisal... and storage of course (included within our services).

Are you gonna submit it to a TPG?

Chuckle, I think I saw that offer elsewhere. As far as submitting it for grading I'll leave that for the next holder of the coin and collection. It could be VG-8 or MS-68 doesn't really matter to me...
