The name of the fractional denomination depends on which part of the country you come from - which may be why they don't name the denomination on the coin itself. German-speakers call the fractional unit the "rappen". French-speakers call it the "centime", Italian speakers "centesimo" and Romansch speakers "rap".

Wikipedia chose the French "centime". Worldcoingallery follows the Krause catalogue in choosing "rappen". Both are correct; so long as you are consistent, it doesn't really matter.
